SERMON: March 3rd, 2019 “But How Do I See Past This Present Circumstance?”
How often do we look back and God is asking us to look ahead? Our present circumstances might cause us to lose “…heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day…so we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). We need to see past the past to where God is calling us to today. “You can’t reach out to what is in front of you,if you won’t let go of what is behind you” (anonymous). Oswald Chambers “It is a bad thing to be satisfied spiritually…our reach must always exceed our grasp.” God wants us to grow in Him and we have to be attuned to His voice and live in expectancy of Him in order for us to hear Him. If we constantly look to God in everything, we will see God in everything.
