A Congregation of Conservative Evangelical Christians

Prayer Meetings

We know that the prayers of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16), so we join together in prayer to lift up our congregation, community, county, and country. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 "I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Our Church is the body of Christ. Christ is its Head, and every believer is a member of the body. We come together to pray for God's will and purposes; we pray for boldness in witnessing, Christian fruit, the filling of the Spirit, conduct worthy of the Lord, spiritual enlightenment and understanding; we pray for the sick, the emotionally, physically, spiritually, and economically struggling; we pray for our church leaders, missionaries and persons in authority. Please join us as a member of the body of Christ every Tuesday at 3 pm and 7 pm for Community Prayer located at either the Church of Christ or the Living Word Fellowship.

2 Chronicles 7:14 "if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
