Dear Brothers and Sisters:
I learned late last night that some of you might have taken offence of my letter on Mother’s Day. Before I go further, I need to clarify that these letters have not been written for the VCC congregation alone. It has been my approach towards evangelism as many people I know now starting to ask more questions during this Covid-19 shutdown. The letters have been published on various Social Media platforms where I believe I can reach out to others. The mailing list has more than 1100 names of people who are from diverse backgrounds, histories, professions and personal situations.
My mistake was not asking Pastor Dave to read all of them before putting them on the website of VCC. I will be fine if Pastor Dave says to me that it is not an appropriate letter to be published by the church on its website.
So it was published and some of you are perturbed and hurt by it. That is not my intention in any shape and form. I have known many of you for many years and some of you know that although sometimes we don’t always agree, we always find ways to encourage one another to serve our God. That has not changed on my part.
I am always in the position of struggling to understand the fullness of God and I will never have problems in acknowledging that. It has been my spiritual journey to be aware of the mystery of God that has not been revealed to us fully.
May God continue to use us in our limitation so that we can discover His amazing greatness together.
Peace and Blessings,
