Being creative tells us that we are on a journey of learning. Learning about ourselves as people, learning about others as we grow to embrace the beauty of human diversity and learning about God as the author of all that is beautiful and precious. A creative mind will find ways to understand what has been misunderstood, to cherish what has been overlooked in the past and to accept the fact that knowing everything is the evidence of death.
Why am I writing about this for Easter? It is because God is beautiful and creative and with that very same essence we are created. Easter is the restoration of that very essence which has been damaged by our broken and sinful conditions.
Solomon 2:23: “For God created man to be immortal, and made him to be an image of his own eternity. The righteous, because they are made in the image of God, can rest in the full hope of eternal life.”
